David French attends the Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship

Oxford, 12 April 2013 – Nearly 1,000 of the world’s most influential social entrepreneurs, key thought leaders and strategic partners gathered once again at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford to exchange ideas, solutions and information. Alexandria Trust Executive Director David French attended a session discussion on exploring approaches for strengthening MENA’s educational, employment and entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Panelists included Jamie Mcauliffe; President and CEO, Education for Employment Foundation; Ossama Hassanein; Chairman of the Board, TechWadi; Reham Issam Di'bas; Founder, EzSakan; Katy Cronin; COO, The Elders and Fadi Ghandour; Founder and Vice Chairman, Aramex International. The session discussed the dangers of failing to harness the intelligence and enthusiasm of young people and how this jeopardises not only the wellbeing of this generation, but the stability of Middle Eastern societies and the region at large.
