Trust seeks support from Arab community in London at Royal Society

London, 13 February 2014 – A fundraising dinner event, generously hosted by Nada Bayoud, Chair of the Lebanese Chapter for the Alexandria Trust, gathered influential members of London's Arab community at the Royal Society. The guests were introduced to the Trust's key projects across the Arab region and invited to become active supporters of this work.

Founding Trustee Salah Khalil and Executive Director David French presented the Trust's current mission and future ambitions to the dinner guests.

Saad Eldin Ibrahim, Egyptian sociologist and author, gave his deliberations about the link between education and politics. A Q&A session ensued, convened by Trustee Charles Clarke (Rt. Hon.).
